Among the many updates happening to the 2019 model, you should expect improved performance for 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. As one of the lines in Tacoma family, the TRD Pro has been housing a sporty design and a strong boost of power. Everyone knows that the Tacoma is a medium size truck with good quality but when it comes to TRD Pro, it is somewhat more masculine and manlier. So, is that what you are expecting from the new TRD Pro?

The Upcoming Updates and Changes

Rumor has it that the new TRD Pro will be stronger, better, and harder – these are the qualities that make this truck stays on the top area of the buyers’ wish list. There are some special editions for both the exterior as well as the interior. Besides the TRD Pro, Toyota is going to offer TRD Sport as well as the TRD Off Road. But the main attention is focused on the Pro, being packed with handier and more luxurious features and equipment.

Besides the engine, which is unique from the other lines of products, the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will be coming with improved safety features. Since it is designed as the offroad vehicle, there are specially designed elements and parts to reinforce the durability and strength. To top all of the changes, the TRD Pro will also be coming with the newest and most fun infotainment system.

The Engine

So, what can you expect from the new Tacoma TRD Pro? For the Tacoma, it will be running on the inline four engine with 2.7 liter capacity, producing 160 hp of power and 180 Nm of torque. It is paired with either auto or manual 6 speed transmission, to deliver smooth performance. It is using rear wheel driving system, and the optional four wheel driving system.  For the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, it will only be available with all wheel driving system, and different engine. It is running on V6 engine with 3.5 liter capacity, delivering 280 hp of power and 270 Nm of torque, paired with only auto gearbox. For the new TRD Pro, there won’t be any manual transmission.

Although the new Tacoma is said to come with better fuel economy system, it won’t be happening to the TRD Pro. The Tacoma will be coming with 24 mpg, but the TRD Pro will be coming with 17 mpg for the city and 21 mpg for the highway. However, it seems that it is the price to pay for the increasing 120 hp of power.

Promising Features

It is logical that everyone is expecting better features in styling and equipment for 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Expect new changes on the front side grille, exhaust system, and also the tailgate. There are also extra safety features, like blind spot monitor technology, rear cross traffic warning technology, and also rear parking sensor. Because of these additions, the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro may be sold for about $43,000.
